MKA Planning get response on ‘active farmer’ definition.
MKA Planning recently requested a formal response from the Minister of Environment to clarify whether the DARD change in the definition of an ‘active farmer’ definition would have any impact or effect on the future implementation of PPS 21 policies CTY10, CTY 11 and CTY 12.
Today we received a response from the Director of Planning Policy Division, Department of Environment on behalf of the Minister.
The response has confirmed that there will be no significant implication as a result of the CAP reforms on the application of the Departments rural planning policy.
