CLUED GRANTED FOR USED CARS SALES IN RESIDENTIAL AREA, L’DERRY.
MKA Planning have successfully resolved an ongoing planning enforcement case at an upmarket dwelling located in the Waterside Area, L’Derry.
A local resident brought our Client’s car sales business to the attention of the Planning Service. The Department, acting upon this information, served our Client with an Enforcement Notice requiring him to cease any further sale, storage or display of cars from his home.
MKA Planning submitted evidence showing that the site had been continuously used for these commercial purposes from 2009 to the present day and was therefore over the requisite 5 year period of immunity.
We successfully obtained a Certificate of Lawful Development (CLEUD) for the retention of the business and the Enforcement Notice has been withdrawn by the Department.
