COMMUNITY CONSULTATION FOR THE PROPOSED ERECTION OF GAA PITCH, RETIREMENT BUNGALOWS AND ASSOCIATED WORKS AT CULMORE

RE: ERECTION OF GAA PITCH, CHANGING ROOMS/COMMITTEE ROOMS/SPORTS HALL, SENSORY PLAY PARK, NEW VEHICULAR ACCESSES FROM PUBLIC ROAD, ERECTION OF RETIREMENT BUNGALOWS AND ASSOCIATED CAR PARKING AND LANDSCAPING AT LANDS TO THE SOUTH AND EAST OF NO.’S 7-9 CULMORE POINT ROAD, CULMORE, DERRY.

MKA Planning are carrying out a community consultation event on behalf of Culmore Cú Chulainns GAA, Culmore Community Partnership, and Kevin Crumley for a proposed outline planning application for GAA pitch, changing rooms/committee rooms/sports hall, sensory play park, new vehicular accesses from public road, the erection of retirement bungalows and associated car parking and landscaping at lands to the South and East of No.’s 7-9 Culmore Point Road, Culmore, Derry. .

This ‘drop in’ community consultation clinic is open to all and will take place at:-

  • Location:  Culmore Community Partnership Hub, Victoria Hall, 32-34 Culmore Point Road, Derry.
  • Date:        Wednesday 21st September 2022
  • Time:        6:30pm – 9:00pm

Comments on the project by the public can also be made by telephone to a member of MKA Planning (028 71 311 551), by email to a specific email address at culmorecommunitydevelopment@gmail.com or on social media on our specifically created Facebook Group – Culmore Community Development Community Consultation.

Comments made at the community consultations are not direct representations to Council but if the developer submits a planning application there will be an opportunity to make direct representations to the Council at that stage.  If the developer submits a planning application a community consultation report incorporating all representations made will be submitted to the Council as part of the proposal.
