MKA PLANNING SUCCESSFUL AT GETTING SOCIAL HOUSING APPROVED IN GREENBELT OUTSIDE EGLINTON VILLAGE.
MKA Planning submitted an application for 14 no. social and affordable housing units at Lands between No.’s 85 and 93 Every Road, Tamnaherin, Co. Derry on behalf of the a housing association.
This application was for much needed social housing in Tamnaherin, outside the settlement limits, has now been approved recently at July 2021’s Planning Committee Meeting.
The application was initially recommended for refusal by the planners.
However, MKA Planning were able to show that the proposal met all the requirements of Policy CTY 5 of PPS 21 and the Planning Committee approved it on this basis.
